Something to celebrate after her messy divorce
Just a week after Jennifer Garner was spotted shopping for an engagement ring, new reports have emerged that she and her boyfriend John Miller are expecting a child – a fourth for the actress!
“Jen was shocked when she found out she was expecting baby number four and said she took seven tests as she couldn’t believe it, given her age and the fact she wasn’t even trying,” reports a source close to the 46-year-old.

Ben Affleck – wore a black Gucci dress with a cleverly placed bow to hide her midriff at the recent Art of Elysium Gala, but there was a visible bump when she went for a walk with her son in Los Angeles just days later.
“After getting over the initial shock, Jen said she’s over the moon and that she always wanted four children – something she’d given up hope on after her split from Ben – so she’s pinching herself that it’s happening,” our source tells.
“She told friends and family the happy news over Christmas, and the kids are
overjoyed to be getting another sibling, especially Samuel, who’s hoping for a brother to even things out!”
However, the pregnancy has reportedly been deemed high-risk by Jennifer’s doctors and she’s being closely monitored, with weekly scans and blood tests. She’s also been put on a diet specially formulated for pregnant women in their 40s, but our source says, “She’s hopeful everything will be OK and is looking forward to welcoming number four later this year.”
Just before their 10th wedding anniversary, amid rumours Ben, 46, had had an
affair with their children’s nanny, Jennifer and the Gone
Girl actor announced their decision to split in 2015. But the divorce wasn’t finalised until last October, once Ben had completed treatment for alcoholism.
Over those three years, as her ex was linked to younger women like Playboy model Shauna Sexton, 22, and TV producer Lindsay Shookus, 38, long-suffering Jennifer appeared to be ignoring her own love life to focus on their children.
Perhaps not coincidentally, it was that same month that Jennifer was granted a divorce
in which reports emerged of her romance with fast-food CEO John, 40, with an insider explaining that the Camping actress “admires John because he is just normal”. Conveniently, his divorce from violinist Caroline Campbell, 39, his wife of 13 years, was finalised the following month.
Last week, Jennifer sold her and Ben’s old family home in the Pacific Palisades – to Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine, no less – and it’s thought she and the kids will move in with John, his 12-year-old son and his nineyear-old daughter.
“After a few successful meetings with all their kids, they’re hoping the move will be as seamless as possible and they can work towards becoming one big, blended family,” reports our source.
The next step, possibly even before the baby arrives, is a wedding, with Jennifer reportedly spotted shopping for her own engagement ring at a Beverly Hills jewellery store.
A friend explains, “She’s fine with buying her own ring. Jen is totally besotted with John and wants to spend the rest of her life with him. Jen feels she was cheated out of a long and happy marriage with Ben. She can see that John is a solid guy who will stay committed to her.”
