As George and Amal Clooney walked the red carpet at the People’s Postcode Lottery Charity Gala in Edinburgh on March 14, whispers were rife that the human rights barrister appeared to be trying to conceal the distinct beginnings of a baby bump! Rumours that the couple
are expanding their happy brood come just days after the 41-year-old covered her stomach with a loose-fitting dress to attend dinner at Buckingham Palace.
What’s more, it doesn’t look like there’s just one bun in the oven either! When 57-year-old George held up four fingers, many said it was a sign they’ll have four little people running around the place, with not one but two babies on the way!

“George was subtly telling the world that he’s about to have four kids on his hands,” an insider tells us. “People are convinced it’s his way of revealing they’re expecting twins again.
“Amal has been very selective with her outfits of late, making sure not to wear anything tight-fitting around her stomach. This is exactly what she did last time she was pregnant before they shared their happy news. But even though they’re keeping it on the down-low for now, it’s clear she’s absolutely glowing!”
And the A-listers, who married in 2014, couldn’t conceal their joy when indulging in a conversation with Prince Charles during their evening at Buckingham Palace recently, where it’s believed they shared their exciting news with the heir to the British throne.
“George couldn’t wait to spill the beans when he found he was going to be a dad first time round,” says our insider. “They’ve struck up a close bond with the royal family and they’d be thrilled to have two little ones to go on playdates with Harry and Meghan’s baby.”
Woman’sDay can reveal George and Amal have been longing to expand their family ever since they gave birth to 21-month-old twins, daughter Ella and son Alexander, in June 2017.
“They were delighted to have twins, but it’s no secret they would love to have more kids,” our insider confides.
“They’re great parents, but Ella and Alexander are growing up so fast. Amal and George know if they’re going to have more children, they shouldn’t wait. The timing is right.”
Nextchapter
Despite reports the couple’s relationship had hit a rocky patch, sources confirm they’ve worked through their issues and are stronger and happier than ever.
“They’ve had their ups and downs, but recently those problems have melted away and they’re ready for the next chapter,” our insider tells.
“George and Amal can’t stop smiling, and a lot of people suspect that’s because they’re getting ready to grow their family. They’d be over the moon to have more kids.
“Even though the twins are a handful as it is and having another set of them would be a lot to cope with, they wouldn’t change any of it for the world!”
