Come to LaVieDansUne Marionette and you will see that I sing, dance and mime. So different to my ShortlandStreet character Mo!

What was your favourite thing to do during the hols as a kid?

Adventuring. Whether it was walking up a maunga or along a beach, I loved discovering new parts of Auckland. I’ll always remember riding my bike with my cousins from Mangere Bridge to the waterfront.

What are your youngsters’ [Huia, 12, Larere, nine, and Te Marino, seven] fave holiday activities?

My kids love to draw and build forts. They also love to go back to places we’ve been before, like Ahipara and Ohakune. MOTAT [Auckland’s Museum of Transport and Technology] is popular as well.

Will any of your Shorty co-stars be coming to the show?

I expect them all to be there! Some have seen it from when we last performed it in Auckland and will want to come again, I’m sure!

What Wh can you tell us about a La Vie Dans Une Marionette?

It’s a show about the importance of friendship. frie It’s magical, silly and poignant, p and I play The Moon. That’s all I’m willing to give away. We’ve performed p this show for many years to a broad range of people. It’s special in that it allows parents and kids to connect through a magical world that we create.
