Dan has revealed the duo briefly parted ways following the show’s shocking final episode, where he was shown footage of Jess hitting on co-star Nic Jovanovic. “I lost a lot of trust for her,” the former
rugby player confesses to
Woman’sDay. “I needed time for myself and I said to her, ‘Look, I need a break.’”
After they reunited, Dan was then accused of flirting with someone named Hannah at a Gold Coast bar, before trying to take her back to his house. In a message asking the woman what happened, Jess – who recently relocated from Perth to Queensland to be with her man – admitted to being “an absolute emotional wreck”.
The part-time model added, “It’s just so heartbreaking. I’ve moved my entire life here. He said he has never seen you in his life, but my gut just doesn’t believe it … He’s ripped my heart out.”
But soon afterwards, it was claimed Jess cheated on Dan with LoveIsland
Australia star Eden Dally, who is now dating Cyrell JimenezPaule, soon after the first episode of MAFS aired.
Jess claims she and Dan were on their break at the time, and that she and Eden, 25, never hooked up. However, she later hinted at a split, posting “thank you, next” on social media. Dan has since unfollowed but then re-followed her on Instagram. Watch this space!
