The Foxx is looking tamed
They’ve been on and off more times than the Spice Girls reunion, but as Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx walked hand in hand after watching a movie in Los Angeles with his daughter Corinne last week, it seemed their rocky romance was back on track – and it’s all thanks to a “bicoastal relationship coach”!
With the former mer Dawson’s Creek actress, 40, based largely in New York and the Oscar winner, 51, living in Los Angeles, the stars have hired long-distance love expert Dr Laura Berman to keep them together.
“Katie hired Laura a couple of months ago, when things reached breaking point and they separated,” an insider
tells Woman’s Day. “Jamie was hesitant, but after a couple of sessions, he realised how effective the coaching was and how much he wanted to make things work with Katie.”
The stars take part in intense two-hour sessions both as a couple and alone, with Jamie agreeing to try to take a more hands-on role with Katie’s daughter Suri Cruise, 12, and the actress vowing to build an amicable relationship with 25-year-old Corinne’s mum Connie Kline.
Our insider adds, “Laura’s been really working on the trust issues that come with spending time apart and she’s ensuring they keep that spark by making sure they don’tgo more than two weeks without seeing one another.”o
