Katie throws Suri the ultimate Sweet 13

How time flies! It seems like only yesterday that sweet little Suri Cruise was being admired as one of the cutest celebrity babies ever born. Now she’s 13!

On April 18, the newly minted teenager’s A-lister dad Tom Cruise was nowhere in sight as she headed out to an upscale eatery in New York for a celebratory birthday dinner.

But despite reportedly not seeing her Mission:Impossible star father for six years, the young Miss Cruise couldn’t have looked happier to be hanging out with her devoted mum Katie Holmes and her two best friends.

“Suri doesn’t have a huge group of friends,” claims a source close to Katie. “Instead, she is super-close to these girls who she’s known since primary school. They’ve become like sisters to her and even Katie treats them like her own – after all, she’s

known them since they were just five years old.”

Before stepping out on the town, BatmanBegins beauty Katie, 40, had a stylist kit the girls out in floral dresses, sneakers and handbags, as well as treating them to a mini spa session with braids and manicures.

Their slap-up dinner of tasty pasta, salad and bread was followed by a movie, a sleepover and a private dance lesson by one of Beyoncé’s choreographers the next day. But the best was yet to come!

“Katie then surprised Suri by taking her and her pals to Paris for the weekend,” reveals our insider. “She totally spoiled them with a shopping spree, afternoon tea at the Ritz and tickets to the ballet.”

It’s shaping up to be a monumental year for Suri as word has it Katie’s partner Jamie Foxx, 51, is set to file papers to officially adopt her.

Tom, 56, hasn’t been pictured with his little girl since 2013 and insiders allege that while the actor is permitted to see his daughter 10 days a month, he chooses not to as she doesn’t practise his Scientology religion. Now, our source spills,

BabyDriver star Jamie could become Suri’s dad as early as September.

“Jamie’s filed for a domestic partner/step-parent adoption, which is fairly straightforward, and his legal team has already had the agreement from Tom,” claims the source.

“Tom will remain Suri’s biological legal dad, but the adoption will mean Jamie can officially become Suri’s dad, which is something both she and Katie have been dreaming of for a long time.”
