Jen’s whopper $375,000 beauty bill
She’s knocked off half a century and has two heartbreaking divorces behind her, but Jennifer Aniston is looking better than ever – and a new unauthorised biography is dishing the dirt on just how she’s managed it!
“Jen’s having the time of her life,” says best-selling author Ian Halperin, who spoke to 350 sources to get the lowdown on the Dumplin’ actress for his book Friends with Benefits.
And, he adds, she’s “having the last laugh” – particularly over her old rival Angelina Jolie. But looking as good as Jen does at 50 doesn’t come cheap!
Ian claims the Friends alum – believed to be worth around $360 million – has invested in her “inner and outer health” by spending around $375,000 a year on everything from yoga and therapy to laser skin resurfacing.
Her skincare regime, with facial oils and serums, costs $2500 a month and every time she gets highlights in her hair she is set back $1500.
Then there’s her workouts with LA’s top fitness instructors, which cost around $6000 per month, and she forks out a similar amount on a diet coach and customised meals.
As if that’s not already an eye-watering amount, Jen drops a six-figure sum each year on clothes and even more on travel, which she says is
“key to staying young and curious”.
“She doesn’t really seek happiness, she seeks wellbeing,” reveals one source. “And clearly she’s accomplished that. She’s really grown as a person over the past few years. She lights up the room wherever she goes. She is a true Hollywood icon. I don’t think there’s been an actress who looked better than Jen at 50.”
The star’s personal trainer Leyon Azubuike told the author that Jen “dominates” everything he throws at her, adding, “Most women in their 20s couldn’t keep up with her.”
Despite her attention to health and wellbeing, the sources in the book say Jen knows how to have fun – she enjoys a glass of wine and is famous for her margaritas.
And despite her humiliation in 2005 when first husband Brad Pitt, 55, walked out of their marriage and straight into the arms of Angelina, 44, Ian reports that Jen has blitzed the Maleficent star in both the beauty and career stakes.
He recounts a conversation with late actor Bill Paxton, who told him, “Jen’s the better talent … I would choose to work with her over Angelina for the reason that she brings more to the table.”
A close friend, meanwhile, told the author, “Who would’ve thought that Jen would have ever looked better than Angelina Jolie? That shows you it’s not how you start in life, it’s how you finish.”
