Woman’s Day (New Zealand)

Editor’s letter

- SIDO KITCHIN EDITOR-IN-CHIEF, WOMAN’S DAY

You guys are amazing. We celebrated ur 30th birthday last week with a special issue and what’s bl blown me away is the lovely fe feedback we’ve received.

People don’t write letters much any more, but I’ve read the most gorgeous messages of gratitude from all over New Zealand.

Hazel from Feilding treasured the memories the issue brought back, and was dazzled by our past and present cover stars, excited to turn each page to see who was in the celebrity line-up.

Felicitas from Otago dubs the mag “women’s best friend”, thanked us for the “beautiful read each week” and loved reminiscing with the birthday issue.

Also from Otago, Erin cares for five children, including a baby, and when he has a nap her favourite thing to do is relax with a cuppa and Woman’sDay.

Claire from Canterbury has a wonderful husband who has bought her weekly Woman’sDay fix for more than 20 years, and she loves to get together with her girlfriends with a glass of bubbles and the mag.

Louise from the Waikato remembers her mum always having the Day on the coffee table growing up, and during her battle with breast cancer she was grateful the puzzles and stories gave her a distraction.

Timaru’s Diana tells us she can’t travel but she escapes with our stories and enjoys dreaming about destinations.

Subscriber Charlotte from Canterbury shares her dose of “gossip and goodness” with her 95-year-old grandma.

When Mandi from Tasman was on a student exchange, she missed family terribly and the best packages from home included a Woman’sDay.

Tracy from the Waikato says the mag reminds her of her mum, who passed away last June. She was an avid reader, always saving the puzzles until last.

Women from all over NZ have shared kind messages of congratulations and stories of their connection to their favourite magazine.

I’m really humbled, dear readers. Thank you all for being a part of Woman’sDay.
