When David Beckham posted a picture of himself cosying up to fellow Brit Emilia Clarke at a concert in San Francisco last week, both of them looked like the cats who’d got the cream.
His wife Victoria’s smile wasn’t so broad, though, according to our sources.
“David’s a massive flirt as it is, let alone broadcasting a picture of himself with the GameofThrones star he’s been lusting over for years,” says a source. “Posh was very unimpressed when he posted that picture.”
It was a bold move from Becks, 44, who has only just managed to smooth things over with Victoria, 45, after his flirty hot tub pic with Courteney Cox – and insiders say this latest incident might have pushed his wife over the edge.
“David loves collecting celebrity friends, so there’s no doubt he’d have gotten Emilia’s digits and struck up a text friendship like he does with a lot of people,” says a source.
“But what’s telling is that Posh is making a big show of partying in LA with her bestie Eva Longoria and not saying a lot about David, who’s apparently gone back to the UK.
“It was very odd for him to post that picture with Emilia knowing it would upset Victoria, so a lot people are speculating it’s a sign they might actually be over.”
