They’re two of Hollywood’s hottest stars and now it appears Katie Holmes and Justin Theroux are hotter than hot for each other!
In November last year, Woman’sDay reported that the unlikely twosome had fallen for each other after a secret four-hour tête-a-tête in a New York restaurant – and four months later they’re completely smitten.
“Things have certainly stepped up a notch or two,” the insider shares. “They’ve become extremely close and given they’re both lovers of their home city of New York, they’re enjoying sharing their favourite spots with one another. They’ve been sneaking around the city inconspicuously, which they could never do in Los Angeles.
“They’re both self-confessed bookworms and Katie took Justin to her favourite book store, called Three Lives Better. They spent hours trawling the shelves and bonding over their most-loved novels.
“Justin, in return, took Katie to an art exhibition put on by one of his friends.
“They’ve also been hanging out at each other’s homes a lot. Katie has introduced Justin to Suri, which was a huge step and a definite sign that this is something serious.”
Last August, it seemed love was off the menu for BatmanBegins star Katie, 41, when it was revealed her super-secret six-year romance with BabyDriver actor Jamie Foxx, 52, had crashed and burned.
And while TheLeftovers star Justin, 48, has been linked to a bevy of gorgeous women following his “heartbreaking yet gentle” divorce from Jennifer Aniston, 51, in 2018, our insider says he didn’t feel a
true connection with any of them.
But, says our source, that all changed when he was introduced to mum-ofone Katie by a mutual friend – and the fact the actress has been happy to introduce Justin to 13-year-old Suri, from her marriage to Tom Cruise, 57, has her friends dishing that the edgy actor might just be The One.
“She’s tried to keep things cool for Suri and has told her they’re just good friends,” tells our insider.
Justin, meanwhile, has filled Jennifer in on his new relationship, and she’s given him her blessing.
“She said she’d love to meet Katie when she’s next in New York and joked that he best steer clear of Jamie Foxx!” laughs the source.
“Justin didn’t expect to date another famous actress after his marriage to Jen ended, but Katie has definitely changed his perspective. He wants to spend all his time with her.”
