Trying to bling something to our attention there, Katy Perry? The singer stepped out in Hawaii on March 16 with a shiny new band on her ring finger, prompting speculation she and Orlando Bloom have tied the knot in secret while on holiday with their seven-month-old daughter Daisy and the actor’s son Flynn, 10.
“Some of their friends think that they already exchanged vows in a private ceremony,” says a source of the couple, who reportedly said their promises in front of just a handful of witnesses.
“They were both excited about having a blowout wedding party, but the times have changed.”
And while their big plans are now on the backburner, insiders say the singer, 36, and the Pirates Of The Caribbean star, 44, are “thrilled to be man and wife” and will eventually celebrate in style.
Orlando’s already doubling down on his doting husband duties, letting Katy “have a lie-in” while he takes Daisy in the morning for some kisses and “eye gazing”.
But following that, even the actor admits the rest of his strange daily routine is “quite LA”.
After waking up at 6.30am and checking on his daughter, Orlando enjoys 20 minutes of Buddhist chanting. He then likes to “earn” his breakfast of goji berries and porridge, so he’ll have “some green powders” with brain octane oil before going on a hike.
The star, who thinks a cow “is the most beautiful thing ever”, says he’s “90 per cent plant-based” and has “a team of people” to cook him meals.
But Orlando might be in Katy’s bad books for dishing on their private life, after being asked how often they have sex and answering, “Not enough – we just had a baby though.”
