‘I’LL ALWAYS LOVE MY BROTHER’

-

With reports suggesting Prince Harry is planning to bring his children Archie and Lilibet home to the palace over the holidays, it appears William has pushed aside their feud and extended an olive branch to his brother.

In a moving podcast recorded for Apple Fitness+ to raise awareness of the benefits of walking for mental health, the future king pointedly included his younger sibling as he recalled precious childhood memories.

William reminisced about how he and his brother would belt out Tina Turner’s song The Best with their mother Princess Diana while driving back to boarding school.

FAMILY MOMENTS

“Sitting in the back seat, singing away, it felt like a real family moment. My mother, she’d be driving along singing at the top of her voice,” he shared.

“We’d be singing and listening to the music right the way up to the gates at school when they dropped you off.”

A source tells Woman’s Day,

“William isn’t usually forthcoming with his emotions and almost never talks about Harry these days, so it’s touching he was mentioned in what is obviously a significant memory of William’s about their mother. And if anything will bring those boys back together, it’s the memory of Diana and talking openly about all the good times they shared with her.”

Royal sources says Harry, 37, and William, 39, “have barely spoken” since the Sussexes relocated to California, where they’re now parents of two – and one insider shares that William, in particular, has had “a very rough time” as a result.

“Ever since he could remember, he’s had Harry by his side,” says our source. “William’s found the past three years incredibly difficult. Still, he has made it clear on the few occasions that he speaks to close friends about Harry that he loves his brother and would welcome him back with open arms.”
