A WEDDING & A BABY FOR RIRI!
Pregnant Rihanna has sparked rumours she’s expecting a baby daughter with her boyfriend of one year, rapper A$AP Rocky, with insiders revealing it was no coincidence the singer wore pink in her bump-reveal photo shoot last week.
“Those close to Rihanna are whispering she’s having a girl,” says a source close to the 33-year-old. And fans seemed to agree, with one commenting, “Rihanna told us she’s having a girl without telling us. Peep the pink!”
Whatever the sex, Rihanna’s camp says the star’s over the moon about becoming a mum. “She couldn’t be more ecstatic – she’s always wanted kids,” reports an insider, adding that she has her heart set on having “three or four”.
And there could be an engagement on the way too, with a mate of the 33-year-old rapper – real name Rakim Mayers – claiming, “A$AP is obsessed with Rihanna and has never loved her more. Friends and family are all placing bets on when they’ll make the big announcement. They’re both ready to do this and have been for some time.”
Rihanna, who hasn’t released an album since 2016, sparked pregnancy rumours when she visited her native Barbados in November, asking people not to smoke around her. Some witnesses also claimed to have seen a baby bump, but she shut down gossip by tweeting, “Y’all breed me every year, dammit. Lol.”
After hearing the news from his daughter last week, Rihanna’s father Ronald Fenty, 68, said, “I’m ecstatic. For the last five years, everybody was saying she was pregnant, but I think this is a good time for her to have a kid.
“She will be a great mother. It will come naturally to her. Rihanna is very protective of her brothers, nephews and all the kids. I already have two grandsons, so I’d like a granddaughter this time.”
