MAFS STAR’S SHOCK SURGERY

-

After being teased about his thinning locks on Married At First Sight NZ, Samuel Levi has undergone a hair transplant in Sydney, which he says has changed his life.

“I’m a confident person 90% of the time, but seeing online critics comment on my hair loss really made me have self-doubt,” the Kiwi reality star, 29, tells Woman’s Day. “I wish I’d done it sooner. It’s a taboo subject for men, but it shouldn’t be – making yourself feel good should be a priority. I wanted to be open about this to normalise it and break that stigma.”

Sam says his boyfriend, MAFS Australia contestant Liam Cooper, has been “so damn supportive”, adding, “It’s been such a vulnerable time with me going bald and shaving my hair off, but he’s allowed me to feel that I’m doing the right thing and has made this process so much easier. We’re just about to hit the one-year mark shortly and we’re still going strong!”
