Astorm is brewing between two of Hollywood’s most beloved leading ladies, Jane Fonda and Barbra Streisand.

According to an insider, Jane’s had enough of Barbra insinuating she has her to thank for her fame!

“It rattles Jane’s nerves to hear Barbra talk about how she made Jane’s career, all because she turned down Klute, They Shoot Horses, Don’t They? and Julia, paving the way for Jane to take those career-making roles,” says the source.

“Jane thinks Babs is just blowing hot air and should focus on her own business.”

Jane has addressed the rumours of a feud with her frenemy. “She needs to say things like that to kind of, you know, give her a little boost,” the 84-year-old said of the Funny Girl star. “You have to feel sorry for her.”

Babs, 80, is reportedly also keen to set Jane up with a man, which only infuriates the Grace And Frankie star.

“Barbra prides herself on her matchmaking skills and she’d be happy to set Jane up if she’d let her,” says an insider. “Jane attributes this to sour grapes because when they were younger, Jane was the sexy one and Barbra had ugly duckling insecurities.”
