BREE MEETS HER SOULMATE!

-

ZM radio star Bree Tomasel turned actress for her role as a “boss bitch” TV producer on Shortland Street last week, causing havoc as the soap prepared to celebrate its 30th birthday.

“I don’t know if I was amazing, but I gave it a crack!” she tells Woman’s Day. “It was such an iconic experience being on the set of Shorty.

I felt like I was in a dream the whole time – it’s a piece of New Zealand history!”

Bree, 32, says she spent her time behind the scenes on Ferndale “fangirling” over actresses Nicole Whippy and Kura Forrester, but it was Marianne Infante who stole her heart. “I felt like I was meeting my soulmate!” she says. “She listens to my radio show, I follow her on TikTok and we had these incredible chats. We’re going to catch up in real life!”

And the feelings are mutual, with Marianne, 26, adding, “Bree and Clint [Roberts] on ZM are the people I share my drive home with. They’ve gotten me through some tough moments in my life. I still can’t believe she knew I existed!

“I was shocked when she told me she knew who I was and that she’s been following my mahi [work]. It was a very happy day for me!”
