What’s the best part about having your own reality show?

Incorporating my family and friends into a television show. Usually, TV requires a lot of writing and casting the right actors, but with this, my job is to just live my life.

Who are your reality TV icons?

Kathy Griffin was the first person I thought of when

I came up with this show because she was the first person to have a docuseries following her as she was trying to make it in the showbiz world. I also watch a lot of The Bachelor. This show sort of turned into a rom-com about me and my ex-boyfriend rediscovering a relationship that we thought was long gone, but I didn’t plan that! It’s nice to see yourself on a date with someone and be like, “I’m cute. He’s cute. We’re cute!” and root for myself in the relationship that I’m in. It’s a wild feeling, but it’s kind of a dream come true.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you move?

I’m not trying to kiss arse here, but it probably would be New Zealand. It’s so beautiful and Kiwis do things right politically. The people there are cool, but they don’t think they’re too cool and they don’t worship celebrities like we do in America. I would like to be someplace where life is gorgeous and it’s less about always comparing yourself with others. Though, my whole family would have to come with me!
