VICTORIA PUTS A RING ON IT!
The reality favourite has plenty to celebrate this year
Another wedding is in the works for Travel Guides Australia favourites the Fren family – Victoria has announced she’s engaged to her partner of 12 years, Nathan.
The 29-year-old reality star showed off her new round-cut diamond sparkler on social media, telling followers, “And just like that I said yes… We are so excited.”
And Victoria’s friends and family were quick to congratulate the soonto-be-weds.
“I just want to celebrate now!” commented Victoria’s sister-in-law Danielle Fren, 31, who married Victoria’s brother and co-star Jono Fren, 31, in 2021.
“So happy,” Victoria’s parents Cathy and Mark commented, adding it was set to be the “wedding of the year”.
“Wonderful. Congratulations, darling!” The Block Australia’s Mitch Edwards and Mark McKie added.
Given the globetrotting nature of Victoria’s TV gig, there’s no doubt the star – who has been on the TVNZ
2 show since it started in 2017 and recently finished filming its new series – will be keen for a destination wedding.
And when it comes to planning the big day, she will be getting plenty of tips from Jono and Danielle, who roped in former Married At First Sight Australia contestant Ryan Gallagher to be their MC for the night!
As for getting stressed about the big day, it’s unlikely the famously unflappable Frens will be succumbing to any diva meltdowns. Despite describing themselves as a bit bonkers, they always manage to see the lighter side of every situation.
“We thought we were nuts,” admits mum Cathy of their initial foray onto reality TV. “I kept on saying, ‘I can’t believe people think we’re normal!’
We just like to say what we think. There are no airs or graces.”
And there will be no prouder parents than Cathy and Mark on the big day. Reminiscing on her kids’ childhood, Cathy says, “They were beautiful children and were spoiled rotten. Jonathon has always been quiet and was an excellent student. Victoria was beautiful until she was about 15 and then went totally wild until she was about 21.”
