Windows to the soul
Mirrors are a bit like windows in their ability to introduce a sense of light and spaciousness to a room. But they’re more versatile in that they can be moved around, hung anywhere and can add colour and detail by way of a beautiful frame. In this Christchurch cottage, a large, ornate mirror leans against a wall in the bedroom, while a matching mirror in the kitchen acts almost as an extra window; both reflect and refract their rooms’ best features.
