Black, bold & beautiful

Love the idea of a bold, black kitchen but worried about greasy fingerprints? Fenix, the new generation of nanotech surfaces from Arpa Industriale are anti-fingerprint and soft to touch so you can be as bold as you like

At this year’s Milan Design Week, deep and dark tones continued to go from strength to strength, demonstrating that this striking look is definitely here to stay.

While darker tones – especially black – can look absolutely amazing, the downside has always been the obvious fingerprints and scratches that are left behind, especially if you have kids using your kitchen (big or small).

Fortunately this is no longer an issue. Meet Fenix, the darling of Milan Design Week 2018.

Spotted everywhere in kitchens, Fenix surfaces for benchtops and cabinetry are the result of smart technology with colours (including a deep black) inspired by nature.

Fenix is a new generation of nano-tech surfaces, created by Arpa Industriale in Italy. With low light reflectivity, the surface is extremely matte and opaque, anti-fingerprint and pleasantly soft to the touch. Superficial micro-scratches can be repaired thermally. All of which means that your kitchen will continue to look great and that you can use it with confidence.

Available now in New Zealand – talk to your designer or architect to get Fenix into your new kitchen.
