Remember that famous advertising slogan “DIY, it’s in our DNA”? So true! We Kiwis are hard-wired for it. The satisfaction of putting your blood, sweat and tears into something that ends up looking great (and saving a few bucks in the process) cannot be underestimated. The trick, though, is giving yourself time to actually enjoy all your hard work before getting itchy feet and moving on to the next project (something I’ve yet to master myself).
One thing that could certainly help you enjoy a newly renovated space is our spring/summer collection for Farmers, which has just hit the stores. Botanica is an earthy, organic collection with a palette of marigold, garnet, rich blues, khaki and baked clay, offset by soft blush and lavender. We’ve heroed natural materials such as acacia, quartz, leather and stone, which will bring a beautiful, grounded quality to your home.
