Berger Paints appoints Phoebe Obi new CFO
BERGER PAINTS NIGERIA (BPN) Plc, a leading paint manufacturer in the country, has reinforced its operating effectiveness and value creation with the appointment of Pheobe Onyinye Obi as the company’s new chief financial officer (CFO). The appointment is in furtherance of the company’s strategic plan to position its operations for increased efficiency and enhanced value creation.
Berger Paints, in a statement signed by the company secretary, Ayokunle Ayoko and filed with The Nigerian Stock Exchange, said the appointment of Obi was consistent with the company’s policy of attracting talents, adding that it has been approved by the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).
The paint manufacturing giant further revealed that Obi’s wealth of experience of almost 15 years in leading strategic planning, budgeting, and corporate finance for high-growth organisations will be an added advantage to the firm in a bid to realizing her goals and set objectives as top paint manufacturer in Africa.
