Babaura new CEO as Obabori retires from Red Star Express

AUWALU BAD AMASI BABAU RA HAS TAKEN OVER AS THE NEW MANAG ING DIRECTOR OF RED STAR EXPRESS, a leading Nigerian logistics company, following the completion of term and retirement of Sola Obabori, the erstwhile chief executive officer.

Charles Uche Ejekam was also appointed by the company as the new executive director, sales and marketing.

A special event was held by Red Star to honour Obabori and Babaura, as well as the retiring and newly appointed executive director, sales and marketing.

The company said the change of executives was a demonstrat­ion of a well laid out succession planning in place in the organisati­on, as well as in the general Nigerian aviation industry and corporate space.

Red Star Express is the first indigenous courier company to be listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange, and presently serves over 1,500 communitie­s within Nigeria and more than 220 countries and territorie­s around the world.
