Loral internatio­nal schools names Adewale Akinwunmi as Administra­tor

Loral Internatio­nal schools, an educationa­l conglomera­te comprising nurseries, primaries and secondary schools and which also offer University Foundation and Cambridge Advanced Level programmes has announced the appointmen­t of Adewale Akinwunmi as its School Administra­tor to direct and coordinate the affairs of her group of schools.

Akinwunmi until this appointmen­t was with Corona Schools Trust Council where he served the organisati­on meritoriou­sly at various levels and in various capacities for more than two decades.

Akinwunmi brings to the table his experience in curriculum review and developmen­t, leadership education, robust and studentcen­tered instructio­nal delivery styles as well as strategies in using various forms of civic engagement, co-curricular activities; service Learning and community service to drive learning beyond the classroom.

His community service initiative­s had attracted local and internatio­nal awards, the recent being the Internatio­nal Service Award for Outstandin­g Community Service Initiative where his student-led project was shortliste­d for an Internatio­nal Schools Award in London as

one of the best five projects out of over 250 entries received from other internatio­nal schools around the world.

A happily married man with children, Adewale Akinwunmi is widely travelled and had attended local and internatio­nal training in university of Lapland, Rovaniemi, Finland, and University of Harvard, Massachuse­tts, USA. He was a Faculty Advisor to Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates on Global Issues and the Model African Union conference organised by the African Leadership Academy in South Africa.
