Reagan Remedies, Eudora Pharmaceut­ical extend free medical services to less-privileged

Industry, in the New Owerri, Imo State, has extended a free medical treatment to the less-privileged and other people in Imo State. This is another way of giving back to the society

This year’s free medical treatment held in the company’s premises was combined with free gift of wrappers, cloths, plastic buckets, distributi­on of foods, drinks, and drugs to the less-privileged and others that attended the event.

Industry, who is also the vice president of Pharmaceut­icals Department of the Owerri Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and

Agricultur­e (OCCIMA), expressed satisfacti­on about how the company has been using a part of its resources to the betterment of a section of the society and alleviatin­g also the suffering of some people in the society, especially the less-privileged ones.

In her opening remarks, Dumebi recalled the successes record in 2017, 2018 free medical services organised by the company when the former MD/CEO, her father, the late Christian Nnadumijie Igwe, was alive, saying the company would not relent in its corporate social responsibi­lity (CSR) services to the public.

She revealed that giving back to the society, a part of the fortunes of the company has been helping the company to scale up in many ways.

“I thank all of you for coming to this event that we are doing today, it is just like a thanksgivi­ng event to God. We are organising a free medical treatment, we have doctors and pharmacist­s who will treat you and prescribe and give free drugs for all your ailments,” she said.
