Ho­gan Guards names Paul Ibirogba as new CEO

Ho­gan Guards Lim­ited, for­merly Guards­mark Nige­ria Lim­ited, has an­nounced the ap­point­ment of Paul Ibirogba as the new CEO.

This was dis­closed in state­ment made avail­able to Busi­ness­day, adding that in his role as the new CEO, Ibirogba will over­see the com­pany com­pris­ing over 8,000 em­ploy­ees, cur­rently be­ing trans­formed into a hold­ing con­glom­er­ate with five new sub­sidiaries.

Ibirogba is a mar­ket­ing and HR ex­pert with vast ex­pe­ri­ence in or­gan­i­sa­tional man­age­ment, cost con­trol and busi­ness de­vel­op­ment. He has also been in­volved in com­mu­nity out­reach and ed­u­ca­tion coach­ing.

Ibirogba as an ex­pe­ri­enced Vec­tor Mar­ket­ing agent in Mary­land, US, and has also been in­volved in out­reach co­or­di­na­tion in Hous­ton. He is a for­mer em­ployee of the City of Fargo, North Dakota, where he pro­vided so­cial ser­vices for vul­ner­a­ble in­di­vid­u­als and or­gan­i­sa­tions.

A grad­u­ate of Uni­ver­sity of Hous­ton, Texas, where he stud­ied communicat­ions, Ibirogba also ma­jored in Busi­ness Ad­min­is­tra­tion at the Mor­gan State Uni­ver­sity. His work­ing ex­pe­ri­ence tra­verses North Amer­ica and Asia where he has had lead­ing roles in ed­u­ca­tion busi­ness en­gage­ment, es­pe­cially in China, South Korea and the Philip­pines.

He was the edi­tor of Ve­gan World News, United States, be­tween 2018 and 2019.

Ho­gan Guards Lim­ited has for over two decades been pro­vid­ing se­cu­rity sur­veil­lance for ma­jor oil com­pa­nies, diplo­matic mis­sions, banks and var­i­ous in­dus­trial and res­i­den­tial con­cerns. It be­gan op­er­a­tion on Au­gust 18, 1981 and has won 29 awards in the course of its four decades of op­er­a­tion.

The com­pany cur­rently op­er­ates of­fices in most ma­jor capital cities of Nige­ria in­clud­ing La­gos, Abuja, Port Har­court, Ibadan, Akure, Abeokuta, Aba, As­aba, AdoEk­iti, Ondo, Ore, Ijebu-ode, Ile-ife, Cal­abar, Kano and Enugu; with plans for other cities in Nige­ria as well as of­fices in the ECOWAS/WEST African sub-re­gion.
