Also, on March 23, Transcorp Hotels Plc formally notified the investing public and the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) that it has postponed its annual general meeting “due to the recent developments on the novel COVID-19 and the need to follow the guidelines provided by the World Health Organisation, the National Centre for Disease Control and the Federal Government of Nigeria amongst others”.

The Board of Directors of Transcorp Hotels Plc approved the postponement of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Transcorp Hotels earlier scheduled to hold on Tuesday March 24, 2020, till further notice, according to the group company secretary Chike Anikwe.
