Nes­tle an­nounces changes to the Board of Direc­tors

Nes­tle Nige­ria has an­nounced the ap­point­ment of its man­ag­ing di­rec­tor Mauri­cio Alar­con as the mar­ket head Nes­tle Cen­tral and West Africa com­pris­ing 25 coun­tries with head of­fice in Ghana from Septem­ber 1.

Ac­cord­ing to Nes­tle, Alar­con will re­main on the board of the com­pany as a non- ex­ec­u­tive di­rec­tor of Nes­tle Nige­ria.

Also, Remy Ejel a nonex­ec­u­tive di­rec­tor who is the cur­rent mar­ket head Nes­tle Cen­tral and West Africa has been ap­pointed as the mar­ket Head of Nes­tle Mid­dle East and North Africa (MENA) from Septem­ber 1. He would no longer con­tinue to serve on the board as a nonex­ec­u­tive di­rec­tor.

To re­place Alar­con as the man­ag­ing di­rec­tor of the com­pany, Nes­tle has an­nounced Was­sim El­hus­seini, the cur­rent coun­try man­ager and sales di­rec­tor of Nes­tle Mid­dle East & North Africa. El­hus­seini joined Nes­tle Kuwait in 2002 as a chan­nel cat­e­gory sales de­vel­op­ment man­ager for cof­fee and Cream­ers.
