The com­mis­sioner said asides her visit to schools, the per­ma­nent sec­re­tary in the min­istry of ed­u­ca­tion, among other top of­fi­cials, were also on the field to achieve max­i­mum com­pli­ance and co­or­di­na­tion.

Abosede Ade­laja, the per­ma­nent sec­re­tary, said that the govern­ment has pro­vided the stu­dents with face masks and sani­tisers. She ex­plained that aside from fu­mi­gat­ing the schools and en­sur­ing a clean and con­ducive en­vi­ron­ment for learn­ing, the govern­ment has also pro­vided fa­cil­i­ties such as wa­ter and basins for wash­ing of hands.
