The commissioner said asides her visit to schools, the permanent secretary in the ministry of education, among other top officials, were also on the field to achieve maximum compliance and coordination.

Abosede Adelaja, the permanent secretary, said that the government has provided the students with face masks and sanitisers. She explained that aside from fumigating the schools and ensuring a clean and conducive environment for learning, the government has also provided facilities such as water and basins for washing of hands.
