Group commends Uzor Kalu for attracting road projects to Abia North Senatorial zone

of South-east youth leaders (Coseyl), a socio-political youth organisation, has endorsed orji Uzor Kalu, a former governor of Abia State, for re-election into the senate.
orji Uzor Kalu, currently the majority leader of the Senate, is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) representing Abia North Senatorial zone at the Senate.
Coseyl in a statement jointly signed by Goodluck egwu Ibem, it’s president general and okey Nwaoru, publicity secretary, said that it took the decision after a careful appraisal of on the spot inspection of quality projects and democracy dividends attracted, by orji Uzor Kalu to Abia North Senatorial zone.
they argued that the 2023 general elections is a year where the electorates would vote for candidates with capacity to deliver and not the political party of the candidates.
“only candidates who have shown capacity to deliver democracy dividends to the people who elected them will be voted into political offices this time and orji Uzor Kalu has shown that he is a lover of his people,, which informs his tireless efforts to bring home different forms of democracy dividends to his people.
“orji Uzor Kalu has opened the eyes of the good people of Abia North Senatorial zone to know that a Senator can attract building of roads to his vonstituency.
“He made our people to know that a Senator can empower his constituents. He made Abia North to know that a Senator can even attract a project to ancoalition other Senatorial zone that is not his area of coverage when he attracted several road projects that are under construction in Ariaria International Market and other local Government Areas in Abia State”.
they stated that their decision to endorse orji Kalu is because he restored the confidence of Abia North electorates in government, by making them know that a Senator is not a position for those who share frying pans to their constituents, but an office that determines the fate of her people, through direct touch, by delivering quality democracy dividends.
“Businessmen and women have received business and start-up capitals to boost their businesses, which has created jobs in Abia North and beyond.
“Joy and smiles have returned to the faces of Abia North constituents after long years of representation without anything to show for it. the people are happy with Uzor Kalu and that happiness which he has brought to our people must continue beyond 2023.
Coseyl called on all other Senatorial candidates of other political parties to join the electorates of Abia North Senatorial district, who have wholeheartedly endorsed Uzor Kalu, through them, to withdraw and support him to continue the good works, which he has started.
