Intimate World of Margaret Obi

-

The political season is in full swing. And one of the major contenders for the Aso Rock top job is Mr. Peter Obi, a former governor of Anambra State and the presidential candidate of the Labour Party. It’s no news that Obi’s popularity has soared. And the ‘Obidient’ movement has continued to move from strength to strength ahead of the 2023 general elections. But what many people don’t is the woman behind Obi. Who is the woman after Obi’s heart? And probably the next Nigerian First Lady!

Described as everything a woman of substance stands for, Margaret Obi is one of the most important women in Obi’s life. Call their union a match made in heaven and you won’t be wrong. Like a man who found favour in God’s sight, since Margaret came into Obi’s life, it has been a story of onwards and upwards only. Margaret, who hailed from Calabar, in Cross River State has continued to be a blessing to humanity, especially in terms of women empowerment and charitable ventures. To her credit, she has done a lot in the area of service to humanity. And that’s not all, she has also been a strong support system for her husband.

She has been quietly doing her bit behind the scenes to ensure that her husband gets the no1 job in the country. A businesswoman of note in her right, Mrs Obi has teamed up with her political strategists mobilising and wooing the wonensfolk to the Obident movement. To say that she has added glamour to the Labour Party presidential campaign train is simply stating the obvious. Aside her commendable support, Mrs Obi is also a powerful dresser who understands the A-Z of fashion.
