Abimbola revealed this while delivering her keynote address at the Business Women Hub (BWH) conference on Tuesday. The conference, themed ‘Female Inclusion: A step to forging a better world’, was in commemoration of International Women’s Day which was centered on female inclusion.

She outlined strategies to ensure that women don’t undersell themselves while staying relevant and becoming better vendors in their respective fields.

“In today’s digital age, establishing a strong online presence is essential for women entrepreneurs to thrive. It’s important to leverage social media platforms, e-commerce websites, and other digital tools to showcase the products or services effectively. By utilising targeted marketing strategies and engaging with customers online, women can expand their reach and compete more effectively in the market,” she said.

She added that it is important for women to value their worth and not settle for less than they deserve.

“Women need to confidently communicate their value proposition, emphasising the unique qualities and strengths they bring to the table. By setting fair prices for their products or services and refusing to compromise on their worth, women can establish themselves as respected vendors in their industries.”

Abimbola’s keynote speech provided insights and inspiration for women in business. She highlighted the significance of staying relevant in an ever-evolving business landscape.

“Continuously innovate and adapt to changing market trends and consumer preferences. By staying informed about industry developments and investing in ongoing learning and skill development, women can position themselves as trusted authorities and go-to experts in their fields,” she said.

Imelda Usoro-olaoye, founder of BWH and managing partner at Thinkmint Nigeria gave her welcome address at the conference. In her speech, she gave a summary of the business hub.
