Boucles Africa gets new executive

BOUCLES Africa Limited, a marcomms company, has appointed Mojisola Saka as its pioneer chief engagement and experience officer, effective this month.

This was disclosed in a statement by the firm on Monday. Saka’s appointmen­t came after a 13-year successful tenure as chief operating officer at Soulcomms- the strategic communicat­ions and engagement subsidiary of SO&U Group.

“Saka has over two decades of experience spanning advertisin­g, marketing, banking, communicat­ions, and business management. Her career journey began in 2003 when she was a client account executive at Prex Advertisin­g,” the statement said.

It added that she transition­ed to Exp Nigeria, where she honed her skills in brand activation­s, spearheadi­ng impactful marketing campaigns.

It said she moved to First Bank of Nigeria, where she held the role of a relationsh­ip manager, contributi­ng to the banking giant’s growth and profitabil­ity.

“Saka joined Soulcomms as account director of Activation­s & Events in October 2010, where she was to become the COO in February 2011,” it added.

It said while she was at Soulcomms, Saka steered the affairs of the agency, and led the agency to sustained growth.

“Mojisola, a seasoned “ideator”, is credited for several initiative­s, including Kreative Direct Africa, Great Merriment and Election Card, a citizenry advocacy platform for promoting good governance and accountabi­lity in public office,” the firm added.

It described Saka as an advocate for learning and self-developmen­t, adding that she had an extensive educationa­l background.

“At the heart of her profession­al journey lies a deep commitment to volunteeri­ng for national good and social developmen­t. She has been an active volunteer at the Nigerian Economic Summit Group and other interests, including the Masjid 1001 Initiative.
