Institute trains journalist­s on beauty therapy, aesthetic treatments

Natures Gentle Touch Hair Institute has trained some journalist­s in Lagos as part of its e ort to advance beauty therapy education, including aesthetic treatments.

e event, which held at Natures Gentle Touch Hair Institute, Lagos also had in attendance trichologi­sts, instructor­s and some sta of the institute, who provided a veritable platform for interactio­n and knowledge-sharing on common various hair problems su ered by Nigerian women.

It also featured intensive hair counseling and follow-up therapy. According to the Chief Executive O cer of the Recare Ltd, owners of Natures Gentle Touch Hair Institute, Chijioke Anaele, Nigerian women living in Nigeria require speci c hair care solution because of their unique hair condition which is in uenced by Nigerian weather, diet and hair structure.

Anaele reiterated the brand’s commitment to promoting healthy hair and scalp wellness, as well as addressing diverse hair care needs.

To him, the goal of setting up the Institute is to advance beauty education and training, develop profession­al competenci­es in hair styling and increase entreprene­urial spirit for economic developmen­t and empowermen­t of youths. “We are committed to providing a holistic scienti c approach to hair and scalp care, using rich natural ingredient­s. We have, therefore, developed treatments for various problems such as dandru , hair breakage, dry hair, weak and damaged hair, as well as slow hair growth among others,” he stated.

Anele therefore, urged Nigerians to embrace indigenous hair care products, especially those formulated with natural ingredient­s, and reassured them of the brand’s commitment to providing both solutions and informatio­n on hair care. e high point of the day was a media tour of the facility which was establishe­d in 2006.

e tour, most remarkably, culminated in an exclusive session with the institute’s 28th batch of trainees, all on three-year scholarshi­ps with regular stipends which has been the institute’s practice since inception.

Participan­ts were presented with various range of the company’s hair products and gi cards, which further quali ed them for a free walkin hair therapy session at the institute to further encourage personal hair care.
