husbands.

When you are going through something as tough as divorce, coming across this article and reading its content can truly be life changing! More power to the elbows of the courageous writers whose articles have lifted the spirits of many women out there, I inclusive. Thank you.

This is very touching and inspiring. I admire your courage for taking time to touch this very serious issue that the society has truly turned a blind eye on. Being a man does not prevent me from admitting what you wrote as the truth that shouldn’t be kept under the table any more. These things are supposed to be discussed and ironed out and penalties imposed on culprits for a better society. As a man, I pledge my involvement in the search for solutions.

I was divorced twice after trying everything in my power to maintain my marriage with those two women. I can understand how it feels to be divorced even though, as a man, I didn’t go through the highlighted problems in these articles. But believe me I have had and still have my own share of frustrations.

My mother always says, “Time heals all wounds and words bring more healing than drugs” especially when it comes to the sickness of the mind. I sincerely believe that these articles will heal many souls.

In life, faith is the determining factor for success....it emboldens courage and makes us who we are. I feel your struggle and empathise with your pain. Truly some of our Northern men are sometimes far worse than the Arabs of Pre-Islamic Arabia in their treatment of women. May Allah strengthen all of you.
