Senator lauds Buhari on reforms
Senator Abu Ibrahim representing Katsina South Senatorial District has said that the Federal Government’s policies and governance style is creating a new direction and hope for Nigerians.
The senator, who is the interim Chairman Board of Trustees of National Committee of the Buhari Support Groups, (NCBSG) made the statement at the launch of the North-West Zone of the group in Kano yesterday.
Asocio-political group under the auspices of the Project 20 Million is set to inaugurate its campaign on patriotism to be performed by the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II.
The campaign is tagged “I’m a Nigerian, I Want Greatness.”

According to him, when President Muhammadu Buhari was elected, Nigerians did so with the conviction that the nation needed to be put on a new pedestal.
A press statement by the Media Officer of the group, Ardo Zubairu, quoted the senator as saying that the president was creating new hope through his various policies.
These included anti-corruption war, rule of law, for respect for everyone, war against insurgency for peaceful co-existence and ensuring financial prudence to take the country out of economic recession. at promoting nationhood and motivating the youths to show interest in national development.
He said that the emir would inaugurate the North-West Zone campaign and then move to other parts of the country.
The president said the campaign is an organised effort which sought to influence the decision-making process and aimed at a thorough, purposeful, invigorated masses driven and grassroots mobilisation of over 20 million Nigerians for a greater nation.
