Rising music sensation, Bamidele, has dropped a new single ‘Laye’ a fusion of afro-pop and afro-highlife with which he hopes to stake his claim in the big league.

The new Stanzee Records signee, also dropped an eye catching video for the debut single, produced by Milla Rankz and shot by Matt Max on locations in Lagos. Already the track is the rave in the old capital.

The Badagry-born artiste shaped his skill in the popular Ajegunle suburb and recorded his first track in 2006 at Micky Me Studios at a period he was devoted to experimenting with his music while creating different sounds. The result of that experiment is a record deal with Stanzee.

Speaking about the song, the artiste, said, “‘Laye’ was an experimental track. After trying out many sounds, it took me a while to find out my style and my type of music. ‘Laye’ is the result of the many experimental sounds I played around with. I am excited at the love shown to me since the release of the single and video and I can assure my fans that together with Stanzee Records, we will not disappoint them,” he said.
