NEXIM, Fidelity support Beloxxi west-coast expansion drive

The Nigerian Export-Import Bank (NEXIM) has pledged its continuous commitment to the management of Beloxxi, to support its export expansion plans, having shown diligent deployment of its initial loan request.

The Managing-Director of NEXIM, Abubakar Abba Bello, disclosed this during The Pinkberry frozen yogurt brand has partnered the Eat N’GO Limited to announce its entrance into Nigerian market.

At the launch in Lagos, President and Chief Executive of Pinkberry Internatio­nal, Aaron Serruya said the product which originated in Los Angeles, California, United States is distinctly light with refreshing taste.

He said the firm was excited to serve and become a local favorite in partnershi­p with Eat N’GO Limited who shares its The Industrial Training Fund (ITF) has said its National Industrial Skills Developmen­t Programme will train 11, 000 youth across the country on various skills acquisitio­n to enable them be self-reliant.

ITF Director-General/ Chief Executive, Sir Joseph Ari disclosed this yesterday in Kaduna during the graduation and closing ceremony of the National Industrial Skills Developmen­t Programme (NISDP) where he warned firms not to sell the items provided in the start-up packs.

Bello said the country has a dearth of biscuit manufactur­ing plants as many biscuits consumed are imported.

According to him, NEXIM came in to support Beloxxi to support import substituti­on and to facilitate the export of the product. values and commitment on exceeding customer expectatio­ns.

The Chairman, Eat N’GO Group Limited, Charbel Antoun said the addition of Pinkberry will introduce Nigeria to the fresh flavors like no other, outstandin­g service and sophistica­ted style for which the brand is known.

“Pinkberry is committed to uncompromi­sing quality. The premium frozen yogurt is made fresh daily with only the highest quality ingredient­s including nonfat milk and nonfat yogurt to deliver the perfect balance of tart and sweet,” he said. Director, Business Training Developmen­t Department ITF headquarte­rs, Mrs Ayoade Igbeyi, the ITF boss said the trainees should see their training as an opportunit­y to have a secured future and not to misuse the opportunit­y.

He said that the graduating trainees were trained for three months in three trades; tailoring and fashion design, welding and fabricatio­n and plumbing and pipe-fitting.

The Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir El-Rufa’i represente­d by the Commission­er of Commerce and Tourism, Mrs Ruth Alkali expressed the readiness of his government to support the training programmes.

The Managing-Director of Fidelity Bank, Nnamdi Okonkwo said the bank’s support for Beloxxi has grown beyond sheer entreprene­urial spirit and passion.
