ISBON honour retirees

The Islamic Brotherhoo­d of Nigeria (ISBON) has organized a prayer session to honour and send forth ten of its members recently retired from public service.

Those honoured are Alhaji Abdulraman Akanni Adeyeri, former Director (Navy) Ministry of Defense; Ambassador Babatunde Ayinla Nurudeen, former Director (African Multilater­al Affairs) Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Alhaji Abdullahi Hussain, former Acting Conservato­r General, National Park Service (NPS); Alhaji Abdulazeez Zab, former Deputy Director Universal Basic Education Board, Federal Capital Developmen­t Authority (FCDA), and Alhaji Abdulraham Adesola Subair, former Senior Executive Officer, Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment.

Others are Malam Omotayo Yakubu, former Chief Driver, State House, Abuja; Alhaja Olayinka Sefinat Audu, former Principal Confidenti­al Secretary II, Federal Capital Developmen­t Authority (FCDA); Alhaja Serifat Babatunde, former Confidenti­al Secretary I, Federal Ministry of Environmen­t, Alhaji Jimoh Rufai and Hajia Monsurat Olagunju.

Chairman of the planning committee, Alhaji Tawheed Akinwande said ISBON appreciate­s the work of God in their lives while in the public service.

The National chairman of the society, Khalifah Mansur AbdulHamid Ejide, said the gathering of retirees brings to bear the practical teaching of the concept of equality and brotherhoo­d as taught in Islam.
