Tomorrow, Nigeria’s only surviving club in this year’s CAF Confederation Cup, Enyimba Fc will tread tackles with Djoliba AC de Bamako in their opening group match. Enyimba’s other group opponents are Williamsville Athletic Club of Cote D’Ivoire and CARA of Congo.

It promises to be a tricky tie for Enyimba considering that the same Djoilba had eliminated MFM, Nigeria’s other representative in the Confederation Cup.

Thus, our cover story previews this mouth-watering fixture billed for the decaying UJ Esuene stadium Calabar. SHOT! spoke to some of the key players in Enyimba who assured that they will go for the maximum points to start their campaign on a promising note.

Furthermore, this week’s interview is with a member of the Home-based Super Eagles and Katsina United defender, Timothy Danladi who said his team will surprise many people by winning one of the continental tickets at the end of the season.

The former FC Taraba player also shared his experience at the 2018 CHAN in Morocco with us.

And in his ever captivating Premier League Column, our man in London, David Billington is celebrating the extra-ordinary exploits of some of the African super stars in Europe.

Although currently struggling, former world number one tennis player, Novak Djokovic is not ready to fade away as he has promised to work on his confidence for a possible comeback.

We rounded up this edition with European football. After clinching a 7th league title in 10 years, Barcelona are in buoyant spirit to face their perennial rivals Real Madrid in the last El Clasico of the season on Sunday.

Although Barca have the title in their kitty, there is much to play for as they aim to end the season unbeaten.

Meanwhile, Real will be out to avenge December’s humiliating 3-0 defeat inflicted on them by the Catalans and also end their 42 games unbeaten run.

We believe you will have a swell time reading this edition of SHOT!. Do enjoy yourself and keep a date with us.

Happy weekend.
