What do they need arms for? To shoot the fire or the water meant to quench the fire? It’s not necessary because we have enough challenges in the country already and should not add more.

We have trained security personnel and there is no enough sophisticated arms to fight insecurity. Instead of giving them the few we have, we are thinking of giving to fire fighters.

More worrisome is the fact that there are trained security personnel that are killing innocent citizens for no just cause because they are armed. Government should equip them with relevant facilities and charge them to live up to expectations and forget about arming them to avoid shooting innocent citizens.
