- With Taiwo Adeniyi

Though love is still in the air you might want to enjoy some gun-blaring action moment with a crime mystery drama this weekend. Surely, Hollywood is the place to be considering the global reception of the movies.

Blacklight

This comes as a cheering news for fans of Lima Neeson who keeps defying age via his roles. Neeson plays Travis block in this one hour 48 minutes thriller. The no-question-asked government operative is coming to terms with his shadowy past. Unlike ‘Taken’ in this movie, he was up against the intelligence director of the most powerful country. When he discovers a plot targeting U.S citizens, Block finds himself in the crosshairs of the FBI director, his friend and superior that once saved his illustrious career. Other actors are Aidan Quinn, Andrew Shaw, Claire van der Boom, Emmy RaverLampman, Gabriella Sengos, Taylor John Smith, Yael Stone and Zac Lemons. The movie was directed by Mark Williams and started showing across Nigerian cinemas yesterday.
