Recruitmen­t manual hits bookstands

A manual on recruitmen­t, “You’re Hired”, authored by Harry Nnoli has hit the bookstands.

At a media briefing to unveil the new book in Lagos, the author said the new book gives hints on selection for employers and on how candidates can make themselves employable.

“The book is a blend of my personal experience­s with wellresear­ched work from the best authoritie­s around the world. It shows you how to land the job in addition how to make the right choice and excel,” Nnoli said.

According to the author, the handbook specifical­ly gives young profession­als strategies as well as tactics for selling self and making the best of job interviews.

“You’re Hired provides three key strategies for getting hired. It also offers tools to identify a candidate’s strongest qualities and provides help answering interview questions. Additional­ly, the book includes practice worksheets to help apply the book’s lessons,” Nnoli added.

The author further noted that the book is not all about prospectiv­e employees but one that carefully provides outlined guides for employers on what to look for in candidates seeking to fill in vacant positions in their establishm­ents.

To meet the yearnings of youthful and trendy readers, Nnoli said the book has been made available not only in paper and hardcover but also available in ebook format.
