ONLINE REACTIONS EMERGENCY RULE: Re: No room for extension - Senators, Reps
Politicizing the security issue is what is causing more conflict; the emergency rule has not eased things, so the government should think beyond it.

If it must be extended, it should include Abuja especially now that Shekau is presently residing in Abuja going by his latest video broadcast.
Fage Abdul, abdufage@gmail. com
Also let the state governors make their own state police and state army.
Aliyu Muhammad, nassarawa2030@yahoo.com
May be that will be better, that way at least the ordinary citizens will know that they don’t have to rely on anyone but themselves and may devise ways and means of dealing with the scourge. May God protect the weak and bless the innocent.
Jika, jikau1996@gmail.com
The army should leave those three states and let the governors fight Boko Haramists themselves. It is our northern governors who vetoed the creation of state police. As to the army, no one can have a private army in the country.
The Adviser, siddonlook1@ yahoo.co.uk
They should also withdraw the military over the accusation of being compromised while the senators and House of Reps members should return to their constituency to divide their people and the mandate be given to them.
Ihenzie Heephy
It will be illogical to extend the state of emergency in the North East.
B ashir Bello
No to extension of State of Emergency in the North East again because there is no much difference; the military is doing nothing to stop Boko Haram activities in the region. If the FG insist to extend emergency rule in the north east, then they should include Abuja also.
