Re: 2015 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION: Buhari wins big in Lagos, Ogun, Osun

-

Buhari is zooming into Aso Rock, not just in a landslide, but in an earthquake. The unanimity with which Nigerians voted massively for Jonathan in 2011 has been turned around to Buhari, in a fit of national revulsion against Jonathan’s incompetent leadership and corrupt government. I had predicted this a very long ago.

This is just a tip of the iceberg.

This is the beginning and end of People Deceive People. I can’t just wait for Jega to blow the whistle to end this match.

In 2011: Ogun, Kogi, Osun, Ondo, Oyo chose Jonathan. In 2015 : Ogun, Kogi, Osun, Ondo, Oyo chose Buhari. Game over for GEJ!

Yoko Zuna, bq4004@gmail. com

I thought INEC has given a warning that no one should announce any election result? Why is it that you media guys like breaking laws? You guys want to break up this country with your writing; allow Jega & his team to finish what they have started please.

Anyebe M. S., anyebems@ live.com

These are the results announced at the polling station after the counting of votes. No law against the announcement of such results. The voters at Aso villa who knows Jonathan more than the rest of us have spoken through their votes. It is no to GEJ.

My people, let’s just keep on praying for a better Nigeria. We still have a long way to go.

The train of change has started from Aso Rock! It shows those closest to the President in Aso Rock are tired of him. I pray Buhari wins!

Andy, andrew.inas@yhaoo. com

Good and encouraging result so far.

The rule says the winner should be announced at the polling unit after counting the votes casted. And there is freedom of expression in democracy.

Mustapha, mustaphanurujahun@gmail. com

Where were you when elections were postponed for no reason than for GEJ to re-campaign. Please, let us be; we are tired of deceptions.

Mallam Musa Suleiman Sir, Congratulations for putting pen to paper and coming up with your article titled “Time to Appreciate Our Elder Statesmen”.

I strongly disagree with you on what you wrote on Chief Edwin Clark. His kinsman, Henry Okah, described him correctly, a tribalist. He would have done well by advising GEJ on those glaring mistakes Jonathan and indeed his wife have been making instead of the blind support.

After all, have you not come across what Chief Obasanjo said? When OBJ suggested GEJ as Umaru Yar’adua’s Presidential Running mate, Chief Edwin Clark vehemently opposed it. The same Edwin Clark sometimes last year mentioned that Orubebe and GEJ are his boys.

Bless you my brother! Certainly change has arrived Nigeria.....away from days of violent armed coup to era of masses resolve to identify, determine, sponsor, and demolish obstacles for their preferred leaders; away from the era when incumbency overrides and govern illegitimately with defiant impunity.

Prof Kebbel is truly an authority in journalism. I am proud to be his student for a week. It was quite an enriching experience tapping from his fountain of knowledge.

Ibrahim Hassan, rotihassan@ yahoo.com 50 names with PVC but no names on list? This questions the structural integrity of the card reader. A lot

What happened between the time GEJ was chosen as Presidential running mate and now? He probably realized later the opportunity to be close to GEJ in order to enrich himself through Presidential favours. Didn’t a fellow Elder Statesman, General IBB, suffer all sorts of insults from Chief Edwin Clark for not supporting GEJ? He continued with the insults until he was threatened with a possible legal action before he stopped.

Furthermore, I disagree with you on what you wrote; “But he is known to have always fought for equality and justice for all Nigerians, whether they come from South or North”. You should have corroborated this statement with cogent examples.

Abbas, limanabbas@gmail. com

The next most important project impeding Nigeria is peaceful re-integration of the South-East whose denial to the Nigerian Presidency is painful, agonizing and frustrating. Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is Nigeria’s historic hero of PVC (Please Vote change)!
