PDP needs national chairman with a clean record - Gabam

Thank God for President Muhammadu Buhari. It is because of him that the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) is looking for someone with clean record.

Members and chieftains of the party will have to search really hard to find such a person. Well said, Gabam. You are absolutely right.

I agree that the PDP needs to set many things right if it hopes to reclaim power in 2019.

I think they should think of bringing up somebody fresh; not someone who has been in power or held any political office. I totally agree. That way, people will have confidence in the party. The PDP should do that so that we can have a viable opposition.

I really wish the PDP will get its act together because I will vote for it 2019. Chief Bode George can do the job. I think he should be given a chance. I think Jimi Agbaje is the best candidate for the job. If the PDP does that they will come out victorious in 2019.

I advise that the former president, Goodluck Jonathan should be made the chairman of the party.

The position should not be zoned so that the best man can be selected for the job.

I suggest that Ali Modu Sheriff be selected as chairman of the party. He will do very well.
