a Chelsea player.”

The comments come as a surprise after the Blues striker claimed he was “treated like a child” during his second spell at Real.

“There were contractual agreements to be respected,” Morata told Gazetta dello Sport . “The disappointment was enormous.

“I went back to the starting point, they treated me like the child I was before the two seasons in Italy.

“I went as a child and I became a real player, I would never have left Italy and Juve, I miss Italy very much.”

Rising Stars Football Club of Akure has said it will hold an open trials session on Monday to recruit players who are below the age of 19 for the club.

Seun Betiku, the club’s Team Manager said yesterday in Akure that the emphasis on players of that age was to ensure talents were discovered early.

He said this was further made necessary by the fact that the club’s team of last season in the Nationwide League One (NLO) had been disbanded.

“The team is now being refocused to discover talented players to be sold to clubs in Europe and also promoted to our sister club, Sunshine Stars.

“This is also a way to generate revenue for the state from the sale of players to clubs outside the country.

“The players we will be needing amongst our old players will soon be. invited to the team in due course,” the team manager said.
