Untied for divine purpose
Why are believers struggling in life? Why is it that many are stagnant and not moving forward? Why is there no much difference between the saved and unsaved? How can this change?
Obadiah 1:17, “But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.”
There is a beautiful story in the Bible that illustrates this.
Mark 11:2, “And saith unto them, Go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring him.”
This donkey had potential but it there was a problem; it was tied. There are two questions here: 1. Are you bound? What are you tied up with? Many are tied up with the cares of life. Others are tied up with sin, curses and demonic affliction. Yet others are tied up in ungodly and unprofitable and toxic relationships. 2. Who is using you? Men tie you when they don’t know your value. But you are untied when you surrender to Jesus and allow him to use you.
Mark 11:7-8, “And they brought the colt to Jesus, and cast their garments on him; and he sat upon him. [8] And many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down branches many off the trees, and strawed them in the way.”
Until it met Jesus, this donkey was tied, limited and unknown. It was anonymous and insignificant. It had nothing!
Everything changed when they brought it to Jesus. They threw expensive clothes on it to decorate it. They threw leaves on the ground for it to march upon. The ground became too ordinary for it to walk on. You cannot serve God and remain ordinary! Mummy and I enjoy favour everywhere we go.
God has ordained men and women to decorate you with everything you need but you will not find them until you surrender your life to Jesus and allow him to use you.
The Bible says, “And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.” Exodus 23:25
It is your service, not salvation, that entitles you to a life of plenty and satisfaction! Many people are saved but they are still frustrated because they have not discovered the secret of accessing their divine inheritance.
God makes a difference between those who serve Him and those who don’t (Exodus 11:7).
There are three principal ways to serve the Lord:
1. Serving with your gift. When God finds a servant; he anoints the person, he protects the person and he pours his resources into his or her life. You could almost discern a tone of celebration in God’s voice in Psalm 89:20. He said, “I have found David my servant…” God does not find everybody: only his servants! Never allow yourself to be idle in church. Make sure you are doing something!
2. With your substance. Tithe and offering. When you tithe diligently and give generously, God opens the windows of heaven and pours wealth into your life.
3. Through Soul wining. You are on a mission on earth to reconcile the lost unto God. God furnishes you with everything you ask for in prayer when you do. Get busy connecting your family, friends, neighbours and colleagues to church and your ordained helpers will locate and decorate you willingly and gladly!
4. Living a life of worship. When you pray you go to God but when you praise, God comes to you. Praise is your primary duty on earth. It is also your primary key for gaining access to the throne of Grace to secure needed help. No prison can contain a worshipper. No chain is strong enough to keep a worshipper in bondage. No army or opposition can defeat a worshipper!
Paul and Silas regained their freedom when they gave high praise to God in prison.
I heard the story of a six or seven year old child who was kidnapped in America recently. His kidnapper told him not to say a word. The boy started to sing a worship song; his kidnapper told him to shut up but he continued singing for 3 hours. The man now took him in the car, drove round and dropped him off somewhere. The boy ran into a house and asked that they call his uncle or parents. He was reunited with his family! Glory to God!
How many times has the devil told you to shut up and stop singing because of your problems, failures and struggles! Don’t stop; keep on singing. Very soon he has no choice but to drop you off into your liberty and breakthrough.
Every believer must serve God in these four areas. Supernatural link agents Notice that Jesus did not go directly to this donkey. He sent his disciples to locate this donkey and bring it. There are people God has ordained to show you your purpose on earth. Those who reject their mentors lose their glamour in life. God has ordained mentors to help you discover your divine assignment on earth.
We are ordained to show you what you can do for God. Until you believe and embrace your calling you cannot have access to your ordained helpers. Everything you need is in the hands of people. It is your service that provokes God to instruct them to release it to you.
God wants to untie you so that you can serve Him and be blessed. As you serve Him, expect to be blessed. This is an act of faith.
Everything begins to work for your good when you start serving divine purpose. Romans 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
As you begin to serve Him, men will release your job, business, contracts, etc. to you. They will gladly surrender all that you need and you will be celebrated! You will enjoy a new dimension of favour from today, in the name of Jesus! Everything limiting your progress shall be completely destroyed. You will enjoy tremendous favour from today! Money will flow to you from the four corners of the earth, in the name of Jesus! Jesus delivers and heals Acts 10:38, “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.”
Recently two ladies where healed of cancer. A man and woman where healed of kidney disease. I have seen many delivered from financial struggle.
Whatever has tied you before today looses you now, in Jesus name!
The anointing of the Holy Spirit is here to destroy every chain of the devil tying you up.
There is power in the name of Jesus to set every captive free.
There is power in his name to heal the sick. .
