Mr. & Mrs. Emerenini celebrate 10th wedding anniversary
It was an occasion of joy and happiness on the Sunday the 18th of November, when Prof. Felix and Dr. Phyllis Emerenini celebrated their 10-year wedding anniversary in the midst of close family and well-wishers in Abuja.
The events of the day took off with a church service in the morning, followed by a colourful reception to celebrate with the couple and their three children.
The chairman of the occasion, Chief Simeon Mgbenobi kicked off the event with an opening remark in which he congratulated the couple on their anniversary and thanked God for keeping their marriage alive.
Speaking to Prof. Felix Emerenini, he explained how elated he felt on the occasion saying, “We have as a couple stood the test of time, face the storm and the rain and yet are still together strong in love. To the glory of God we are friends till the end for the symbolic meaning of our anniversary, is that we both are meant to be. We celebrated our relationship in a special way to make each other feel special and appreciated because it’s an important turning point in both our lives and celebration of our love for each other.”
Amongst those present during the couple’s special day were Major General R. Nicholas, Brig Gen. Onomajuru, Chief Okoronkwo, Chief Uhuegbulem and the parents of the bride and groom including Mbaitolu General Assembly and members of the Ogwa community amongst others.
