Do you know that each hair strand has its stage of developmen­t?There are three stages of hair growth: anagen, catagen, and telogen. The anagen stage is the active growth stage; it grows at 1cm every 28 days. The catagen signals the end of active growth, it lasts for 2-3 weeks. This process cuts the hair off from blood supply and from cells that produce new hair. The telogen phase is the rest phase where the hair stops growing, when the body is subjected to much stress causing noticeable hair loss. Human hair grows on an average of about six inches a year. Now, let’s look at what we can do to stimulate your hair to grow.

People spend so much money on buying various hair care products while overlookin­g their diet.
